Do I need to be a professional chef to enter or win?
Not at all! This is a chance to do something new and exciting. Sign up with friends or family and go for the gold! Create teams with your co-workers and get a little friendly competition going for office bragging rights. Just make it fun!
Do I need expensive equipment to win?
Even a basic $29.99 Weber Grill could bring home the gold. You never know!
Is steak the only category to compete in?
You can sign up for Steak A, Steak B, Steak A&B, Creative Turkey, Creative Bacon, and Creative Bloody Marys. So there are lots of ways to compete and get a golden ticket! Five categories in all and each 1st place gets a Golden Ticket!
Is early load in available?
Absolutely. Trailers can be loaded in on Friday, September 23rd at no charge.
Is there a place to stay overnight?
Liberty Delight Farms has a block of rooms available at the Hilton Garden Inn Baltimore/Owings Mills. They are located at: 4770 Owings Mills Blvd, Owings Mills, MD 21117 | (410) 654-0030. Tent camping is also available at Liberty Delight Farms in the load in area, if preferred.
If I wanted to sign up last minute for the bacon or turkey category, will there be meat available?
Yes. We will have turkey and bacon available for purchase on site.
What is there to do in the area?
